School was called out on Friday. I was hoping for an early dismissal so that we won't have to make up the day but extra hours of sleep was nice. The snow started at 1:00 pm and by 4:30, when I went out to shovel the first bit of snow, we had already gotten 5 inches of snow. This morning, we got a total of 8 inches of snow.
Rumor has it that there is expected another 8 inches on Sunday's storm. Hopefully the rumor is INCORRECT!
