Tonight was our first date night in Hartford. We got tickets to see Avenue Q at the Bushnell. First we went to dinner at Hook and Ladder. A restaurant that pays tribute to the men and women who risk their lives being firefighters. The decorations are all pictures of firefighters doing their jobs. It is right next door to one of the Fire Houses in Hartford. It also had great food. Then we went on to see Avenue Q. What an absolutely hilarious show. It has a very high raunchy factor but if you can get beyond that the humor is awesome. We've decided Hartford is a lot easier to get into then Boston and the best the parking is FREE! What a great night after a very long day!

We are going to The Bushnell on February 7th to see Jersy Boys. Glad to hear it was an easy venue to get to, also that is a tip on somewhere to eat. We have never been to Hartford for a show etc... If you have any other info let me know. We are going to a 2pm show.Thanks !
